Oops - sorry Lynn, didn't mean to ignore your question. I just got so excited looking at Cynthias picture that I forgot everything else! Rolling my eyes.

Our snow is usually pretty much melted in March, then we get rain for another month, or two, or three. In May flowers start to bloom, in June the garden is doing great. However, it is not uncommon to have it snow in May. It doesn't hang around long though. And I do get pretty pictures of snow on the tulips!

So 'Fat Jack' isn't doing well, huh? I was thinking about getting that one but if it doesn't do good in your zone, I doubt that it will here in the wet and the cold.
