Found these today in my Amaryllis seedlings -- the tiny white dots. Each one is about half the size of a grain of salt. They have been out on my porch, it has been rainy, warm in the daytime (80s) cool at night. Zone 6. I have been keeping the soil rather damp, but the surface does dry out each day. They just appeared suddenly today. Does anyone know if they are a fungus or bug eggs? I was thinking eggs as they are all clumped together in one spot, but not sure. If eggs, what might they be, and what might I use to get rid of them without hurting my seedlings? Same question if it is a fungus. Seedlings are about the size of a blade of grass. Thanks!
