oh, you Master Enabler you, Rick!!
The roof.....I've never before considered it. Hmmmm, the plants WOULD get all day unshaded sun. . . .but my roof is steeply slanted, like the two legs of an isosceles triangle: how would I move around on the roof to tend the plants?? Naawww, on second thought, my roof is out of consideration.
I guess I,ll just have to stick with my 8 plants in containers on my back patio. (Last year, I started with 11 plants in containers, but soon realized my little patio didn't all get 8 hours of sun/day, so had to adopt out the 2 least favorites.)
These pics are the 1 month "birthday" of my Tomato Jungle, version 2016. (They were transplanted OUTSIDE on May 1 & 2.)
The view out my backdoor
The first tomatoes that are almost full-sized. . a cluster of 6 on my dwarf heirloom, Cecil's Choice
