Please let me introduce KUSHI MAYA
Hornback Award Winner for best hybridizing advancement and the Hod Hoepner Award for best potted lily at the 2009 North American Lily Society Annual Convention

If you can imagine a Lilium nepalense that grows over 4 feet tall, with stems that will never bend and flowers some 10 inches across, then you can imagine 'Kushi Maya'.

She is something of a chameleon. By day her flowers have the same sweet perfume of her Oriental parent, but in the evening her other side takes over, filling the air with the unmistakable scent of L.nepalense.

The plants are extremely vigorous, multiply quickly and are hardy. During trials we have subjected the bulbs down to temperatures of minus 4◦ F. Easy to grow, in well drained soil.

Kushi Maya is an exclusive offering of H.W. Hyde & Son and there are only 200 available in the world at this time.

It is a hybrid between Lilium nepalense and an Oriental Hybrid lily.

Kushi Maya is strictly protected by Plant Breeder Rights and cannot be propagated for commercial purposes.

Not for everyone, but a cutting edge lily that will shape the future of mnay new introuctions.

Available in the US only from Faraway Flowers!
