my bad!!!...it's CYRIL'S Choice!!
It was developed by an English gentleman (Cyril), using his plot in a community garden. When he died, it was thought that this tomato was lost forever - since nobody else had the seeds. Some time later, his grandson was given Mr. Cyril's desk (which had been stored by his children). The young man was cleaning out the drawers and among a pile of papers, he found an envelop labeled "SEED". The seed was planted and the resulting tomato was named Cyril's Choice, in honor of Mr. Cyril.
Cyril's Choice d67 Determinant (4') Regular-shaped, rugose leaves
fruit: red & variable: globe to oblate & golf- to billiard-ball size
Heirloom, from England
stake well: abundant producer
My notes (thus far; plant is only about 2', 2 months after transplanting out)
short, stout plant thats doing well with only a central bamnboo pole and requiring precious little staking . . .yet
working with it is rather difficult, as leaves (branches , too) are thick and rigid & flowers are very small
it already has several clusters of green fruit almost full size
