Jim, there are some wildlife rescue orgs. that will take your little robin. I believe these are in your area?

There is a long, long list and they state what county they are in.
We raised a baby mockingbird once. Let me tell you, it was darn near a full time job!!! Those little suckers eat almost continually!!!! That was over 20 years ago when I was much younger & it wore me out!! I will not do it again.
When I was about 8 yrs. old, my dad brought home a baby sparrow that had fallen out of a nest at his work. The company nurses rescued it & brought it to my dad as they knew he was a softie. He brought it home & the whole family raised it. Fed it ground beef from an eye dropper. When dad brought it home, it didn't even have down much less feathers. It's a wonder it lived! It did live, & grow up & the crowning glory was that one day it flew away. It was supposed to be that way & we all rejoiced. I remember that was a whole lot of work too but there were 5 of us to take care of him/her at the time.
