Larry the NOID amaryllis that I grow is a tall beautiful red and you're right, it does bridge between the daffs etc and spring flowers. Unfortunately it's not in the bed I need it to be in. Since it's the first time blooming ever I'm hesitant to move it. I know crinum don't like to be moved and since crinum are amaryllis... Shrug!
I'm thinking about a pink knockout rose and then a black beauty elephant ear in one of the spots that needs some color. That'll be a heck of a combination. Sticking tongue out
