Although I HATE to take this type of picture ( because it is not aesthetically pleasing) I've been trying to get a few shots like this on some of my selected miniatures to help illustrate just how small the blooms are, as it is impossible to tell this from a picture.
This is MAYOR OF MUNCHKINLAND, one of my favorite minis! One picture shows the lens cap beside the bloom.

I tried doing the same thing holding a quarter, but boy is it hard for me because I'm so used to photographing using both hands.

Hmm, seeing these in preview mode, I guess you must open the entire picture to see it all. Only part of the picture is showing up.
