You can grow this type of Carnation but they require a warm climate to treat as a perennial, Dianthus caryophyllus. I grew some once but they aren't hardy here, they have long stems suitable for cutting.

Some of the flowers on yours look to be flopping, but the calyx certainly looks like Carnation. I don't know what else has a calyx like that? There does look to be more flowers on the stem than I would expect for a carnation but there's a lot of improvements with breeding.
