Welcome! Johnny, I hope you know what you are getting into----this is the biggest group of enablers you will find. nodding nodding nodding Since you live in Paducah, check out Bluegrass Gardens Farm and Nursery in Murray, KY. You should be close enough, you might even want to make a visit. Look them up but be sure to use the full name, there is another Bluegrass Daylily Gardens and it is not the same. However, it is in Shelbyville, KY, so you might be interested. I have never personally bought daylilies from either of these sellers so I can't do any recommendations. If possible, since you are just starting out with daylilies, go slow, if you can. It's easy to get caught up in beautiful pictures, but research the ones you think you just can't live without and make an informed decision as to whether the daylily would do well for you. Check out heights, bud counts, bloom time, and other factors, such as rust resistance. From personal experience, I can tell you I did none of these things when I got the daylily bug and I'm sorry I didn't know what I was buying, only looked at pictures. Most of what I have is good, but there are some that were a waste of money and the time invested to try to get them to grow. Once again, welcome to the daylily world--remember this can be just as addicting as a drug. After all, look at all of us here on the Daylily Forum.
