I know those hardships oh so well... raised my son with no help from his mother since he was 3 years old. Until he was 6, I was still serving in the Air Force, working long hours, going on deployments, high stress levels. On top of that, I had to learn how to do Mommy things like baking pies and kissing the boo-boos instead of saying, "eh, rub a little dirt on it, you're fine". LOL
I have a ton of respect for single parents. Parenting as a couple with help is hard enough, parenting alone is a whole other ballgame.
