In my experience, the coloration of flowers is very dependent on climate. I have one that is a brilliant pink when it is mid-summer..........hot, humid, and sunny. When it blooms in the spring, there is only the faintest of pink showing, and that's along one side. I have a couple that won't have fragrance until it gets hot and muggy. Heck, I can take photos of a flower two days apart and you would swear the photos couldn't possibly be of the same flower.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
