I have Strutter's Ball too but I can't say I am a big fan. Oh it is plenty healthy, the stalks are sturdy, the flowers are robust, the plant is steadily increasing over time...what is not to like? I think it is the color, and I think I have not been able to capitalize on it. It is more a dark smudge in my garden. Seeing this thread & seeing the photo has made me look at the flowers again. I simply need to pair it with something yellow that blooms at the same time. Or surround it with yellow variegated foliage......now if I could remember just which one it is....

I think I will have to wait for it to bloom, then carry the blossom about the garden looking for a compatible match. I'll let you know if I succeed.

What have others paired it with?
