Lovely Sarracenias Patty! I use distilled water since we do not have rainwater most of the time. Rainwater is best actually. Some carnivores may tolerate tap water, but it has chlorine and salts that will be bad for most carnivores. So to be on the safe side, I just use distilled water. If one has reverse osmosis water, that is good too.
