Yellow foliage is all around my new daylilies from Home Depot. I've been on vacation for a whole week while Temps here in NC stayed in the upper 90's.

Is the yellow foliage simply from lack of water and can I peel or pull the dead leaves out?

They're watered daily at the stores and come from a greenhouse. Of course they're great upon purchase, but is that simply it Confused
Gimme it and I'll grow it!
