Jim41 said:Thanks for the good comments on the garden. I love my raised beds. I never intended to wind up with so many. If the sun shines, I'll try to get a picture of one of the loaded tomatoes. I cut a wheel barrow load of foliage off them last week so I could find them as they ripen. I've had a few to eat, but picked a five gallon bucket full this afternoon. By the end of next week, I should be swamped with tomatoes. That particular bed is 75 feet long.

High Gym Girl. Still in Houston? Ever in Norteast Louisiana give me a call.

Good luch with the asparagus bed. I planted a 5x9 foot bed with two year old crowns last year. I had enough to eat and share this year but next year should be great. Down here, mine started coming up the last of January. I cut until the last of April. One of the photos I posted shows the ferns of the asparagus bed.

The garden has produced well this year, because I bought a hive of bees last year. They have paid big dividens in the garden.

You are blessed with lots of space. Around here there just isn't much room.
