The problem with sphagnum peat moss at times, it comes in bags enriched with fertilizers, especially the ones from Miracle Gro. Carnivores do not need those fertiizers, so I use the ones from EB Organics, which only has Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss. I also got a bag of the Nepenthes mix from California carnivores, they use New Zealand sphagnum moss, fine orchid bark, perlite and pumice, in case I need to start repotting my Nepenthes. But I have not repotted my Nepenthes yet, seems still okay in it for now.

The one I have repotted early this year, one of my PInguiculas, at that time I use a blend of pumice, kanuma and canadian sphagnum peat moss.
