I think every single thing the Miracle-Gro bags has some sort of fertilizer/crystal added. At least it sure seems to be that way with that company.

Folks need to go to Ireland. There must be a million acres of peat bogs. Whistling Sphagnum moss grows on everything there. I think the same is true of New Zealand and Canada. In nature, sphagnum is a living plant and peat is dead. There are peat bogs in Europe that are over 5,000 years old. I can not imagine the depth of those ancient bogs.
