I put 8 inexpensive uncoated aspirin in 1 gallon of water & shake to dissolve. Then I spray for fungus' including black spot on vegetables & flowers like roses. It works well, too. nodding It must change the ph on leaves with a coating that deters the fungus growing. I just know it works but never understood how until your explanation. Thank You! cwhitt
