Growing in the bright shade of oaks and pines. I have no idea what it is but need to find out so I can see if the fruit is toxic to dogs. it's in an area right next to our fence where the dog spends time ... and our goofy dog likes to eat grass, wood chips and stuff on the ground! It's quite breezy here today and my eyesight isn't the greatest so these might not be the best pictures but I do hope someone recognizes it and can give me the name.
The shrub is about 6 feet in height, multi branching, alternate leaf arrangement and little fruits, some green, some maturing to yellow. In one photo it appears that a bird has been eating one of the fruits.
