That's good to know, since I bought one at Walmart and it has multi color flowers and all green stalks and leaves with the same scientific name as the wild one. Tastes like spinach. But after I brought it home, I was concerned that since it is not the wild one with the yellow flower and reddish stalks, I somehow had gotten an unedible Purslane hybrid. Some bloggers and sites online say to only eat the wild version, so I was confused. Good to know that I can eat my hybrid Purslane as that is one main reason I got it.
