I just want to let you know that it will not overwinter in your zone 6a garden, as it is not a hardy hibiscus. Frost/freeze will kill it, unless it is protected indoors. I over winter mine indoors (in my unheated garage) even in my zone 8a area.
Ahhh! Thank you for letting me know. I'll probably get a giant pot so that it can grow a little bigger and keep it indoors. Do you know which kind, if any, would do well in an outside garden for my zone?
