I doubt we will have a very big wildflower season in Texas next spring anyway. At least, not if it's La Nina that is coming now that El Nino is gone...that's what some experts are saying, anyway. It's fascinating that bluebonnet seeds have tricks that some other seeds don't have. A certain percent of them will normally go dormant and wait for whatever magic signal of nature that tells them to germinate later on, perhaps years away.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
