Oh no, @RobinSeeds....I'm opposed to the practice of 'baiting' or 'posing' or even cutting flowers for photos.
The frog was sitting on a pair of black swim shorts that my daughter left on the patio. Turns out they were a perfect background.
I've read that some photographers put butterflies in the refrigerator in order to chill them into submission for photographs. That made me sad. Same with using captured hummingbirds. Crying
Yes, I have bird feeders and butterfly mash stations. But all of my photos are taken without any harm or restrictions to the creatures. I provide habitats, not hazards.
