I'd really REALLY like to grow this plant, but it only goes to zone 6. I was wondering if I could try to keep it in a pot and maybe put it in the garage over winter? It can get quite big, so I'd have to keep it pruned down and hopefully it could live with that. I suppose I could bring it into the house but it wouldn't get the kind of light that it would need inside so I was thinking dormant would be easier on the plant than dim indoor lighting in a MN winter.

Alternatively, I could put it in our screened in porch and maybe wrap it with some plant blanket for the winter. I'm not sure if that would keep it alive.

Thanks!
