What is the latest date/time of year you would plant seedlings? I had a few seeds from last year that I forgot to get started during the winter. I started them the end of April/first part of May. Of the 23 seeds I had, I now have 16 little plants that seem to be growing well. I started them in one of those cell-type seed starter trays from Wal-Mart and moved them to larger pots once they got bigger. I am in the process now of hardening them off. I have been setting them out in the sun for a couple hours each day (started with setting them out for one hour), but I haven't been able to be super consistent with setting them out (crazy baseball/softball schedules and all that). I am planning on putting up a small raised bed for them because our soil is so poor. I was thinking that I would wait until the end of July or early August to plant them out so that they don't have to endure several months of high heat, but I am wondering if it would be better to go ahead and plant them as soon as possible. Any suggestions? Confused
