I have been out of the picture for a while. My vegies as doing well but I was disappointed in the kale. I bought a new kind and it has big leathery leaves not the nice purple green curly ones I had last year. Why would anyone want big old leathery leaves. I will harvest and freeze for kale bread but am planting another round of the stuff I grew last year.

Garlic was a total bust. So much for that venture. Lettuce seed planted last fall is going great guns. We harvested the lettuce that I grew in the greenhouse garage and when it peters out we will have the stuff growing from the seeds planted last fall. Great. Also spinach is doing great but bolting so I bought some more seed that is supposed to not bolt so fast. Brocs, beans and peas are okay but no produce yet from them. Squash barely growing vegies yet. Hoping the patti-pans produce. And as per usual hope springs eternal for tomatoes and peppars. Whistling
