I use to use both bone meal and blood meal but stopped using those products many years ago. I had "critters" digging in my landscape and pots, attracted by the scents of those two products. I do use Bloom fertilizers though. I typically use a general purpose, balanced fertilizer when I put my plumeria outside, but after there is good leaf formation. After 4-6 wks., I will use Bloom fertilizer every third feeding. By mid-August, I don't use the Bloom fertilizers any longer. Then around mid-September, I quit fertilizing altogether, unless the plants are in bloom, and I continue fertilizing them, using 1/4-1/2 the recommended dilution rate. I will continue this weak fertilization even into winter for those in bloom and in the solarium.

For all I know, since I am anything but expert here, I am breaking every rule in the book. I just do what seems to work for me with my climate and my growing conditions.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
