With you being in zone 6a 10+ hours a day full sun would be fine once established. I live in 7b/8a so for me morning sun and evening shade works best especially with triple digit days. Good luck Amber and keep us updated.


I started them in a sunny window...no artificial lights. We are currently experiencing triple digits and the upper 90s here in my neck of the woods. My seedlings are still pretty small so I think I might wait another month or so before planting them outside. It may take me that long to get a bed ready for them anyway.
