What's weird is that the pics on the AHS site vary greatly in many cases from the pics on here. I'm assuming soil conditions and many other things play a role. During undergrad, all biology majors were required to take a 2 credit class on botany. It was HARD. I wish they addressed more practical issues like daylily propagation in that class instead of making us memorize the lifecycle of tons of fungus at one point in the class Grumbling
