Nikki - Here are some links of information.
NGA does a Not-A-Raffle Raffle approx. every month during the growing season. The current raffle is going on right now and ends June 29th at 7 pm central time:

With saying that, I am sharing 5 acorns with you for you to get 1 raffle ticket. (5 acorns = 1 raffle ticket)
The Lily Auction (referred to as the LA) is fun. Membership to join (register) this auction site is free. But I agree .... watch your wallet, it is very hard to resist some of the listed auctions. Though on the other hand, you can get some beautiful cultivars for very reasonable if you bid "carefully":

If you want to know about some of the cultivars out there, check the Plant Database under the "daylily" section:

Or you can search the Plant Database by specific characteristics:

The American Hemerocallis Society (referred to as AHS):

Join a local Daylily Club if there are any near you!
And this forum is an excellent source of information.
There is also the Classifieds section here on the NGA where daylily growers occasionally list their extra fans for sale:

I've gotten most of my registered daylilies from members here! This is an awesome forum group!!!!
