I do too, Lynn.
it's always sad to hear another fire has started and it can be worrisome. We get them virtually every year, and this drought of ours doesn't help either. I've had ash fall on my house in years past and at times we can get so much smoke that the entire sky is red and everything is hazy. One year the mountains all around us were on fire, at night it looked like we were surrounded by volcanoes.
On a happier note, when I checked today, one of my semps that was mauled by that ground squirrel has started growing new offsets (hooray!) and in the middle of a heat wave, no less. I also think I might have one of my Canada Kate stumps beginning to grow back as well! It has the tiniest hint of green showing
fingers crossed!
