DOWNSIDE : waiting for rain AGAIN . And it is going to be another ugly day here temperature wise . I have so many scapes up it is ridiculous . All 3 weeks early Grumbling but all seem to be in a holding pattern . Been busy days here and I am STILL trying to weed but can't get the weeds out without using water . Plants are much shorter than normal this year .....due to lack of rain no doubt .

UPSIDE : A single solitary bloom on Velvet Ribbons opened yesterday as did Spacecoast Starburst ( Mary Anne, I found it ! or should I say more like it found me !!!!!!!!!) Blackeyed Stella opened and Carved Pumpkin Pie reared it's gorgeous head. Bluebird Sky opened this a.m. and Serenade .....which is wonderful Hurray! .......however just a peek at what is right round the corner. I grow 1200 named varieties and about 1500 seedlings at the moment so one barely even sees the opened ones at this point .

I just know they are all going to burst open at the first hint of rain .Then I will be scrambling to take pictures of them all for my website. Why does it always have to be feast or famine around here? Anyone know? Sighing!
