I recently discovered that some (but not all) rose cultivars that are noted for their strong fragrance are not at all fragrant to me! So I went to Hershey Gardens in Hershey, PA 17033, to smell the roses in their Historic Rose Garden.

These cultivars were somewhat fragrant to me, but I did not find their fragrance to be very pleasant:

Dolly Parton:



Crimson Glory:



Chrysler Imperial:



Rose fragrance as perceived by different people has become intriguing to me.
