Sorry for your loss. Your mom's plants have officially become heirloom plants for your family. Obviously she had a love for green things and the cheeriness it brings into a home. I know you will think of her whenever you are looking or watering the plant. She left a part of her with you. You have gotten some good advice and ID so far.
