@Meredith , I found some canna intrigue on ebay that was grown from tissue culture to avoid the virus. It is hands down my favorite canna so far. I had suspected that my one patch of my tropicannas phasion had it and this year I am positive and have destroyed most of them. It started out with one set I bought separately and it spread slowly to only the tropicanna series. I will now avoid that series forever. I loved the foliage colors at first but not at the price I might have to pay with any cannas in the garden. My banana cannas have remained immune to it. I really do suggest anyone who has not heard of this to check it out. Many growers are still selling this around the country and spreading it everywhere! Most prevalent carrier by far has been the tropicanna series. It makes me pretty mad frankly.
