It is not difficult Schisma, but I do have to keep them inside from Oct. - Mar. Might be able to stretch the length of time outside, but do not risk it. We can get some grey skies during Fall and in early spring, otherwise it is cold, but clear skies.
If I start seedlings in winter months, then I use supplemental light until they can be outside.
