The lysimachia I planted in a floating pot is doing well and growing. The stuff around the edge of the pond in regular soil is blooming a pretty yellow. The two pots of marsh marigolds I floated in a new type of floating pot are going gang busters after blooming their heads off this spring. The bottoms are made of a porous material so I think they must do some water filtration through their roots. Also I floated some water celery in one and it is spreading its stems and roots out from the main pot which is also good. I give up on water lilies. They are not worth the bother. At least if they would grow huge lily pads like they used to I would have them just for the shade. I should go back to planting in dirt rather than pea gravel. I tip my hat to you.
