Tracey, I acquired a bunch of trumpets when I really didn't know very much. I was collecting orientals and trumpets and noticed that the orientals were more problematical. And the trumpets consistently had scent and were just bulletproof in my climate. So I just grabbed Regale from B&B (first lily, actually), Silver Sunburst and White Henryi from OHG, Emerald Temple from B&D, Amethyst Temple from WFF. I thought I was a bit boring and pedestrian, since the colors are all subtle (which is why I'm getting so much into red now) but I've really come to love them. And, oddly, some are getting very hard to find. And they multiply so well I've been able to give some to my trumpetless friends down south, which is fun and very rewarding.

And of course my Avatar is Amethyst Temple. Talk about melting the heart!
