We had a bear visit regularly at a vacation home we were staying at in North Carolina and it did concern me when I had to walk our dog but the neighbors said to just shout and it would go away and it did. It was a heavily wooded area and I am sure there were more bears around. We saw bobcats also.
Minds are like parachutes; they work better when they are open.
