Celebrating Gardening: 2015
I have quite a few Regale around the house here but I see now that I also have one that is going to bloom 2 flowers in the Asiatic Lily Bed and that is all that was in there last year so sorta surprised to see they can start new plants that soon that can bloom. I read somewhere that the odd Regale will bloom from seed the first year but really did not believe it until I seen it going to happen here.... We had a wild wind storm last year and even had a species peony that starting in one of my lily beds and that peony was a long way away from where it was planted... and I have transplanted tons of peony over the past couple of years and they all Pouted and never came up but Mother Nature has her way and must have been a good gardener.......with a green thumb

I have to make sure I have NO seeds pods on these lilies for sure or going to have Regale all over the yard.......

I know a lily breeder I talked to told me that the one year they did no take off a seed head and they were coming up in the grass all over the place......

so lesson learned........
never trust the species..........hahaha

good thing I LOVE this lily
