Some people are listmakers, some aren't. I will honestly say that for a long time I cared about the beauty and not about the names so much. Now dabbling in hybridizing, names are more useful to me.

That, and I used to buy the same lily two or three times, falling in love all over again. I realized I may actually save money this way. But to each their own. Even then, I don't keep records of years bought, places bought, places planted. I use the EON tags and if something gets buried in the ground because of heavy snow, well, then, I'm out of luck.
