I searched the net and liked this one because there are several different versions for the answer:

Basically I think '86'd' could be loosely translated as 'Get outta here' 'Get lost' or simply be evicted from the premises - as in a restaurant. It's humorous here because the tag in the original photo was changed to read '86'd'.
