On a recent trip to Vermont, I finally found someone that was able to identify the fern growing wild along the roadside and wooded areas as Bracken Fern (Pteridium aquilinum) . I've been looking for this to plant in the back of our property. But, I haven't found it for sale at a reasonable price. ($13.00 + for a common fern is not reasonable.)
I was wondering if there was someone up the the New England area that would be interested in gathering some plants for me and sending them my way.
