If I remember correctly .... Michele direct sowed hers soon after collecting the seeds. I don't think she chilled her seeds.
I shall find out .... as I just sowed a bunch of seeds that I recently collected from their pods. No chilling at all, I just let them dry out for a couple of days and then sowed them in cups.
