Since we are now into July and there are quite a few lilies that are coming up this year here......wander what to do......
Some are under pretty heavy mulch but not sure if I take off the mulch they will finish in time for winter to die back.....they are trumpets.....
and then there are some new OT's that are very small bulbs that did not come up either..........
the one bed really bothers me with the trumpets though..........just seems strange
I have a friend that plants lots of lilies and he told me that quite a few of his trumpets did not come up at all this year either.......so not sure what to do.......Wait for next year maybe??
The weather here has been so hot lately and quite dry to be honest............
and then of course spring came on with a bang and really high temps and that is not the norm here
the other trumpet beds are doing fine here.....
and other species in a bed beside the trumpets are up and going to bloom......but these are mostly species ONLY.
Kursha Maya did not come up at all...........and it is planted on another side of the house all together........
all the other OT did but not that one.....
wander if I should dig them up and look at them.....
Hopefully Lorn or someone can help me with these......
