I have just a smallish one. That happens at times. Right now it looks great. It's rooted under the edge of the rosemary, total full sun, and overhangs the sidewalk. You'd think with all the rain, mine would get rot, but so far it's very happy this year.
Jeff, you've got that gravel area out front- sounds like a good place to try this.
Plant it and they will come.
