I grow my peppers with my eggplant in an earthbox (6 plants--3 eggplant, 3 peppers). My poblano seem to set fruit later than the other varieties I grow, but they do pump out fruit at the end of the season. I usually take my and roast them, then freeze them. Nothing seems to really bother my peppers, although flea beetles seem to like my eggplant.
