The jury is still out on whether or not I am going to like the "end result" of the hybrids I purchased this year from obviously "enhanced" pictures! I'll know better next time. Some are improving with each bloom, some are still iffy Grumbling However, several years ago I purchased several Stella de Oro's for a landscaping design. Then I went to a daylily farm and had a ball picking new fun colors - I had NO idea there were so many! Since half of Iowa has Stellas I couldn't give them away! Then we moved to the other side of town, I intentionally didn't take any Stellas with me (our new place had basically VERY little landscaping), I divided and took over 300 perennials (mostly daylilies) with me, and lo and behold, the only flowers that were at the new place were Stellas and a taller version of the exact same color! Needless to say I am TOTALLY revamping the new area and having a ball doing it!!! Smiling
