I have Elija Blue and beyond blue. I am in the pacific northwest. They reseed readily, but they are so easy to pull up, I don't mind. After about three years or less, mine die out in the center. I get about three plants out of these, and they do look ugly without dividing. I have given a ton away, they just grow like crazy here. I transplant these any time of year with success. They love some compost in the planting hole. Just give water often after moving them the first year. I find mine like the roots cut a bit, when moving them. They do best in full sun for me and like water about once a week. I have yet to remember to cut them back in winter or early early spring, so I take a rake and whack them to remove the dry grass.
